A sunny spring anniversary photoshoot in the Blue Mountains

I had the joy of spending a beautiful spring morning with a lovely couple celebrating their anniversary here in the Blue Mountains. The day was sunny, crisp, and full of that magical light that makes the Blue Mountains so special.

We started at 10 AM at Lincolns Rock, strolling through the long mountain grasses, wandering along the main rock, and finding quiet little lookout points where the views just take your breath away. There is something about the combination of soft spring light, rolling grass, and fresh mountain air that makes every moment feel timeless.

From there, we made our way to a little hidden gem in Leura, a small waterfall tucked away behind a five minute stroll surrounded by lush ferns. This spot has it all: a serene creek, a swimming pool under the waterfall, a picnic area, and the epic opportunity to walk behind the cascading water. My couple did not hesitate, they braved the fresh water temperatures for a few final shots, laughing and making memories that will last a lifetime.

It was the perfect way to celebrate an anniversary, adventurous, intimate, and full of joy. Moments like these remind me why I love capturing love stories in the Blue Mountains. The scenery is stunning, but the real magic is in the connection, the laughter, and the shared experiences that make each day unforgettable.

Here is to many more years of love, adventure, and waterfall swims!
